Construction for the beautiful landmark building that has become The Julia Morgan Young People's Performing Arts Center was completed in 1910. This was among Julia Morgan's first major commissions, and was followed by hundreds, as she set up her practice as the first female architect in the Bay Area. This landmark building is now the home for the Bay Area's outstanding children and youth arts experiences. Come and enjoy the spectacular acoustics, the warm atmosphere and the welcoming community that surrounds The Center!
